Military-Like Academy, With a Heart

Master Ranch – West is a military-like school like no other. We include a military academy, an accredited school, as well as a working ranch and farm offering competitive team sports, a spiritual emphasis, and hands-on vocational training. All of these are meant to bring about new interests and hope, to change in a boy’s heart and life.

Spiritual life is also the foundational characteristic of Master Ranch – West. We are dedicated to introducing every teen to His Maker. Many teenagers who enroll have rebelled against their spiritual heritage or have never professed any belief. This program offers a safe place for them to take ownership of their faith, perhaps for the first time.

Our Positive Culture

boys at boarding schoolThe caring staff here at Master’s Ranch recognizes that teens and their parents today face enormous pressure from the culture. Teens are surrounded by a barrage of negative peer pressure. The MR-West model for change is called Positive Peer Culture (PPC), which states that teens can develop self-worth, significance, dignity, and responsibility only as they embrace the positive values of serving and caring for others.

Many boys in our military school program turn away from their self-destructive behavior to a lifetime of serving others. If your teenager needs order and discipline to put his life in order, please consider MR-West.

Athletics at MRCA contribute to leadership development and character maturation as part of a holistic approach to development. Every teen is encouraged to participate in at least one sport because of the important values that can be gained. Master Ranch – West offers a number of sports programs.
