Military-Like Academy, With a Heart

Master Ranch – West is a military-like school unlike any other. We have a military academy, an accredited school, as well as a working ranch and farm offering competitive team sports, a spiritual emphasis, and hands-on vocational training. All of these are designed to bring about new interests and hope, to change in a boy’s heart and life.

Spiritual life is also the foundational aspect of Master Ranch – West. We are devoted to introducing every teen to His Maker. Many teenagers who come have rebelled against their spiritual heritage or have never professed any belief. This program offers an open environment for them to take ownership of their faith, as they may never have done before.

Our Positive Culture

boys at boarding schoolThe caring staff here at Master’s Ranch knows that teens and their families today face huge challenges from the culture. Teens are impacted by a barrage of negative peer pressure. The MR-West model for change is called Positive Peer Culture (PPC), which believes that teens can learn self-worth, significance, dignity, and responsibility only as they become committed to the positive values of helping and caring for others.

Many boys in our military school program turn away from their self-destructive behavior to a desire for serving others. If your teenage boy needs order and discipline to change his direction, please consider MR-West.

Athletics at MRCA play a role in leadership development and character growth as part of a holistic approach to development. Every teen is asked to try at least one sport because of the important values that can be learned. Master Ranch – West offers a number of sports programs.
