All of these are meant to bring about new interests and hope, to change in a boy’s heart and life.
Spiritual life is also the cornerstone aspect of Master Ranch – West. We are committed to introducing every student to His Maker. Community service opportunities and real jobs give real life experience and application of the leadership principles learned at MR-West.
Boys who attend Master’s Ranch – West go to a fully accredited high school that uses a model of classroom and independent study. Students complete courses, with weekly goals set by tutors based on the student’s program of study. Courses are offered for all levels, up to Honors and AP classes. MR-West also supports students to prepare for post-secondary goals by helping them prep for SAT and ACT testing and college applications.
Our Positive Culture
The caring staff here at Master’s Ranch recognizes that teens and their families today face huge challenges from the culture. Teens are impacted by a barrage of negative peer pressure. The MR-West model for change is called Positive Peer Culture (PPC), which asserts that young people can learn self-worth, significance, dignity, and responsibility only as they devote themselves to the positive values of serving and caring for others.
Many boys in our military school program turn from their self-destructive behavior to a lifetime of serving others. If your teenager needs order and discipline to put his life in order, please consider MR-West.
Athletics at MRCA play a role in leadership development and character maturation as part of a teenager’s development as a whole person. Every student is asked to play at least one sport because of the important values that can be gained. Master Ranch – West offers a number of sports programs.
