woodworking vocation trainingThis program focuses on structural, functional, and sculptural properties of wood, together with the traditional techniques of professional woodworkers. Emphasis is on a variety of design approaches.

Students from our Wood Technology program partner with businesses to provide unique and magnificent wood based products. Wood is a versatile natural resource and can be made into just about anything. Our students craft wood into signs, handmade pens and other art projects that make this course one of the special attractions of the Ranch. From desks and beds to beautiful art adorning the walls, the wood shop and its crew make a valuable contribution to Master’s Ranch – West and to its staff and students. Students also make gifts, office furniture, and office décor for our partners and other local businesses and organizations.
